Hot conditions were back with maximum temperature crossing 40 degree Celsius mark in the city on Saturday after staying normal or below normal for 10 days.

         Night was warm too and humidity also.Discomfort level was also high due to rise in humidity.Similar conditions are expected on Sunday and Monday.The maximum temperature was 40.9 degree Celsius three degrees above normal and maximum temperature was 23.9 four degrees above normal.

   Relative humidity was between 29% and 54% .Sky will be mainly clear on Sunday and maximum &minimum temperature are expected to be around 40 and 24 degree Celsius. Because the change in the wind pattern is responsible for the rise in temperature.

The winds from the Bay of Bengal replaced north-westerly winds coming from hilly areas of the country which received snowfall and rains last week.It led to rise to rise humidity level.

       The first week of April the temperature was rising in Lucknow heat wave conditions overcome with maximum temperature soaring to 41.3 degree Celsius on 3 April.
